Gen6 Race Car.

The new car is extremely fast. It's broken every race record except Las Vegas, Dover, Auto Club, Daytona, and Talladega. Every driver loves it. THIS car has no rear sway bar, BUT they can put camber into the rear tires. (Sway Bar-Keeps car from trying to roll over in corners.) (Camber-Angling the car tire a certain way.) These new cars resemble their stock counter-parts. Chevy-The new SS. Ford-The new Fusion. Toyota-Camry. Dodge has stepped out of Nascar, But promises to be back by 2015. The rear fender for the new cars are also lower. The cockpits roof is also lower and the hood is a little longer.

Im Back!!

Sorry i was gone for so long. Its summer now! So i should be writing more often. Well I have your Dose Of Nascar!!! This week there is a race at the road course Infineon! Joey Logano started in the Pole position! My favorite driver Dale Earnhardt Jr started 18! After finishing every lap but 8laps.. He got in a wreck. The leader at lap55 is Kurt Busch. At road courses there are 2 kinds of cautions. Full Force cautions. and Local cautions. So far there has only been 2 Full Force cautions! I think there has been 10 Local cautions. With 29laps to go Kevin Harvick is leading!! 27laps to go and Regan Smith is leading!! Brian Vickers hit Tony Stewart lap88!! It was payback. Tony ended up ON the tire barrier! Kurt Busch is the leader at 19laps to go!! Marcos Ambrose spun Dave Blaney! Juan Pablo Montoya spun Kasey Kahne for 6Th position!! We are down to 10laps to go!! Tony Stewart is back out after the horrible crash! Bad Brad spun Montoya and Kyle Busch!! 5LAPS TO GO!! We got us a race now! Leader at 4 to go is Kurt!! FINAL LAP! Kurt is leading! KURT BUSCH WINS AT INFINEON!! Most of this I'm writing while the race is going on. This was actually last year... I think... never was able to post it. But its summer once again. And since I stay up late during summer I'll start posting at night. SHHH don't tell anyone.

Atlanta

In qualifying Dale Jr won the pole, but never lead a lap. On the first lap Kyle Busch passed Dale Jr to lead the first lap. David Regan had a tire problem, so did Joey Logano, Dale Jr, Jimmie Johnson, Mark Martin, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, and Ryan Newman.

The first big wreck came when Carl Edwards tried to wreck Brad Keselowski, Carl succeeded. At the front Kurt Busch and Juan Pablo Montoya were side by side. Kurt won the race and did the backwards victory lap.

I'm sorry I didn't write on my blog for awhile. I've so busy with school and everything else.

Pocono

Practice 1 - Jimmie Johnson won practice one. Tony Stewart wrecked when he wrecked his splitter, hit a pot hole, and ripped strait off.

Practice 2 - Denny Hamlin won practice two. Brain Vickers wrecked in the same spot as Tony Stewart, but Brain Vickers car spinned around backwards, so his splitter didn't come off.

Jeff Gordon wins pole position because Stewart spinned in practice one. I'm sad because Dale Jr started 22nd but he finished 12th at Dover and starts 17th at Pocono. He finished in 24th position at Pocono. Tony Stewart won the race at Pocono!

The Replacement!

Tony Eury Jr is no longer Dale Jr's crew chief! This comes right on the tail-end of some really bad races. Lance McGrew will be the temporary crew chief starting next week. This weekend at Dover, Brian Whitesell will step up as Crew Chief.

I was just saying yesterday that I blamed lots of Dale Jr's problems on bad calls made by Tony Eury Jr. I am not surprised that this change happened. Well, if Jr does any better at Dover, I will be happy. If he doesn't I will be sad.

For more info on the replacement, go to the following sites:

Just remember, you heard it here at A Dose of Nascar.... told by a 9 year old racing fan.
